Creating a Researcher Desktop or Research Server

1. Login to RCP (Note that you need to be connected to the University's VPN when accessing the Portal off campus).

2. Follow RCP’s on-screen instructions and create a Windows Resercher Researcher Desktop or Research Server.
   

   

3. Click “Open“ and download the .rdp file from the RCP portal

4. Login to using your UoM credentials.

Installing NVivo 20

1. Look up “Software Center” from the start Menu

2. Click and Open “Software Center“
   

   

3. Search for 'Nvivo' from the search
   

   

4. Click on “QSR NVivo 20.6.1.113“ and click Install
   

   

5. Let the installation complete, it may take a few minutes
   

   

6. Once the installation is complete you may be able to locate the new Nvivo icon in the start menu. Open the application
