STEP 1: Creating a Researcher Desktop or Research Server machine
Login to RCP (Note that you need to be connected to the University's VPN when accessing the Portal off campus).
Follow RCP’s on-screen instructions and create a Windows Resercher Researcher Desktop or Research Server.
Click “Open“ and download the
.rdp
file from the RCP portal .

Login to using your UoM credentials.
STEP 2: Installing NVivo 20 on the machine
Look up “Software Center” from the start Start Menu.

Click and Open “Software Center“.
Search for 'Nvivo' from in the search bar.
Click on “QSR NVivo 20.6.1.113“ and then click Install.
Let the installation complete, it may take a few minutes.
Once the installation is complete you may be able to locate the new Nvivo NVivo icon in the start menuStart Menu. Open the application.
STEP 3: Installing the UoM NVivo License
Once you open the application, you may be presented with the following screen to enter the license.

Obtain the latest license key from here. You need to choose the key for NVivo for Windows/Mac.
Click “Replace License Key“, Enter enter the new license key obtained from previous step, and click “Next“.
