Checking Data Have Been Uploaded

We have developed two utility command-line tools that help you manage your instrument upload process.  Both of these tools are relevant only if you are uploading data to Mediaflux via our specialised instrument data upload workflow utilising the Data Mover.   


  • instrument-upload-list
    • A tool to list existing  data uploads in Mediaflux
  • instrument-upload-missing-find
    • A tool to search local source directories (e.g. those on the instrument acquisition PC)  that have not been uploaded to Mediaflux, or the local directories do not match the total file count or size of the uploads in Mediaflux.

These tools are available through the Mediaflux Unimelb Command-Line Clients.  This page has the specific details for installing and using these tools.

To use these tools you will need a special token for your instrument that has access to your upload shareable (configured in the Data Mover installation).  Please contact the Data Solutions team if you are interested in using these tools.
