DICOM

DICOM is the primary format that the medical imaging community exchanges data. Scientists may need to convert that into some more application friendly format (which you can do on download) but we prefer to hold DICOM data in the DaRIS repository.

Bruker

You can upload data to DaRIS from the Bruker/ParaVision GUI or the command line. Here is some help on integrating a Bruker scanner with DaRIS.

Portal Upload (generic/DICOM)

Any file or directory structure (DICOM or otherwise) can be uploaded via the DaRIS portal interface. The data are bundled into a container (e.g. a zip file) and uploaded as content of a DataSet object. If your data are DICOM, the specialized DICOM upload widget can be selected. This will invoke the DICOM engine as if you had uploaded via DICOM client.
