Shopping Cart: Download to Browser

Data can be downloaded to your local file system via shopping cart in DaRIS web portal.

Add Objects to Shopping Cart

Add to shopping cart via context menu of the left navigator

In DaRIS web portal, select an object in the Project of relevance with the navigator from the left panel and right click on it and select the menu item Add to Shopping Cart. You can select any object in the tree from Project, Subject, ExMethod, Study to DataSet. DataSets actually contain the data (content). All children objects are recursively inspected for content and added to the download. If you only want to download a single DataSet, then select it directly.

Drag-and-drop object to shopping cart

An alternative process is to first show the active shopping cart and then drag-and-drop objects from the navigator into it. To show active shopping cart in DaRIS web portal,  from the top menu bar, select Shopping Cart → Show Active Shopping Cart.

This will pop up a new window listing all of the objects that were found to contain contents

Configure Shopping Cart

Settings/General

Activate on the Settings tab of the active shopping cart window, then activate on the General sub tab.

Data Transformation (Optional)

Optionally, you can select any transcoding (format conversion) that you want (there may be multiple input mine format types as shown below). For each different type of data that you are downloading, a list of possible transcodings is presented. The screenshot is configured to convert DICOM files to NIFTI format:

Settings/Destination

Select the Destination sub tab, then select browser as the destination.

Submit Shopping Cart

Finally, click Order at the bottom right on the window to submit the shopping cart for processing (see above screenshot).

The shopping cart will then asynchronously processed on the server side by adding the objects to a container archive. And it will start downloading the container archive automatically when it is ready.

The shopping cart GUI will be automatically switched to Shopping cart list view that shows the status and progress.
