Send Data via SFTP

Data in your DaRIS project can be sent to a remote SFTP/SSH server via SFTP/SCP protocol. This can be done using DaRIS web portal's shopping cart utility.

Add data sets to shopping cart

Log into DaRIS web portal, add the subjects/studies that you want to send to remote server to shopping-cart.

In the left side tree navigator, select the subject/study/dataset, mouse right-click to open the contact menu, then select Add to shopping cart ,

Configure the shopping cart destination to be the remote SFTP/SSH server

After the datasets are added to the shopping cart, select Show active shopping cart...  from the top Shopping Cart  menu bar,

The shopping cart window should pop up and show the datasets you've just added in the Contents  tab.

Activate Settings  tab, then Destination tab, in the destination  field, select sink:sftp-generic  if you want to send data to a remote SFTP server,

It should then show the form above for you to fill in the remote SFTP server details, including the 'host'  address, your 'username'  and 'password'  for that server. You may also want to specify the path on the remote server in the 'directory'  field. If directory  is not specified, it will send to your home directory on the remote server.

Submit the shopping cart to start transferring

After filling in all the required fields, you can click Order  button at the bottom right of the window to submit the shopping cart. It will then start transferring the data to the remote SFTP/SSH server.
